We've arrived at an intensely anticiated Election Day here in the United States. It also happens to be my birthday.
The last time my birthday conincided with an election was in 2000. That day, my fellow citizens (with subsequent intervention from the Supreme Court) gave me a birthday present I'd sure like to return. There's a good chance I could get one more to my liking tonight. Here's hoping.
I guess that puts my political leanings fully on display, but they shouldn't surprise anyone who's read this blog for a while. Whatever yours are, my American readers, do get out to vote today.
