Opener Eve

I'll be leaving tomorrow morning for the trout opener, which looks like it will be a wet one (streamer fishing should be good). I'll be tweeting updates from camp. Check "Field Reports" early and often!

These lines from WB Yeats's "The Lake Isle Of Innisfree" came to mind this morning, and they seem suited to the occasion:

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.
