The Beginning of the Beginning

Indicators of spring's arrival yesterday, despite temperatures that didn't quite break freezing: Rasping redwing blackbirds and trilling frogs (though alas, not spring peepers) heard near a mostly iced over swamp. They're as impatient for spring as I am. But today they'd best brace themselves for more snow.
